We use green lighting technologies, including ...

CFL bulbs - use 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs

LED bulbs - use 90+% less energy than incandescent bulbs      

Motion-sensor outdoor lighting - only "on" when needed      Remote control dimmers on all overhead lighting save energy, too.

We use new technology to minimize energy consumption for air conditioning:

Special  additives, containing microscopic hollow ceramic spheres developed by NASA for the space shuttle, have been  applied to all painted exterior walls and roof for heat-energy reflectivity.  The result has been a 50% in the building's R-value.  

       Visa / Passport                     Requirements:          

From the U.S., you may enter Costa Rica for up to 90 days WITH-OUT a tourist visa, so long as you have a valid U.S. passport with an expiration date 30+ days after your Costa Rica entry date AND at least one blank visa page   

                  AND

a pre-paid airline ticket to exit Costa Rica or proof of the financial resources (return ticket to the U.S. or to another country and/or $400-$1,000 in cash or travelers checks).       Visitors since 1997
